Welcome to The Rotary Club of Bellville

The Rotary Club of Bellville is one of the oldest clubs in the district, having been chartered in 1954. It has a proud history of service to the community, with projects serving every area of need in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.

‘To be of service to others’ – is the commitment shown by our members in the Bellville community where we are all volunteers to assist those less fortunate than ourselves. We are part of Rotary District 9350 which stretches from Knysna in the Western Cape, through Namibia, up to Angola. The district consists of 52 Clubs which are part of Rotary International.

We connect with other professionals, we share our time and experiences with Youth, we support Global causes and we use our skills to help others. We support many diverse projects: Giving financial aid, materials and social support to the aged, attending to social needs of the community, as well as to the disadvantaged and underprivileged. Among these are Education, Food etc. programmes.

Known as the ‘Fellowship Club’, it is a vibrant club, with an active membership, great fellowship, and a variety of activities in every area that make it a successful club. Our members come from all walks of life and enjoy the varied activities that go into making the Rotary Club of Bellville what is.

Imagine Rotary

“We all have dreams, but acting on them is a choice. Imagine a world that deserves our best, where we get up each day knowing that we can make a difference.”
