EarlyAct

EarlyAct is a school-wide service club for Primary School students from ages 6 to 13 and is sponsored by a Rotary Club. The mission and operations of EarlyAct are closely linked to the ideals of Rotary and provide the foundation and natural succession into Interact.

EarlyAct provides young students the opportunity for gaining an increased awareness and knowledge of their community and the world. At a young age, all students can easily be encouraged to be caring and helpful. Their minds are open to recognize the dignity and worth of each individual which builds respect for others.

EarlyAct also engages students in character-building activities and prepares them for leadership roles to identify and carry out projects which benefit their school, local and global communities.

Boston Primary Earlyact Club

Boston Primary was chartered by the Rotary Club of Bellville in 2016. A total of 45 learners enrolled and all received special Early Act badges at an Assembly at the school. The Club continues to grow under the very enthusiastic guidance of their Educator, Mrs Mary Anne McDonald.

They have managed to complete various projects which include, the collection and distribution of dog and cat food, a Beach Clean-up, and Water-Wise Poster competition and a termly visit to the Alta du Toit centre where they assist the clients with the manufacturing of various items for distribution to the community.
