Rotary Youth Leadership Awards is a Rotary program that involves taking a group of learners (ages 15-18) and helping them understand the potential within themselves. It started in Australia in the 1960’s, and has been running in our district since 2003.

Our club has been actively involved since the program started, with members of the club on the organizing committee – as well as sponsoring learners to attend every camp.

RYLA focuses on helping each individual understand their potential, by a structured program that removes distractions, encourages interaction and brings out the potential of everyone who attends. It has been highly successful, with many graduates going on to fulfil leadership positions at their schools afterwards

Bellville sponsors learners from our Interact schools to every camp held every March and September.
