The Settlers High School Interact Club was chartered by the Rotary Club of Bellville in 1994. It is a vibrant club at the school that meets during the ‘society hour’ on a Monday under the guidance of a very dedicated Educator, Ms Nanette Botha. An Interact President and committee are elected every year and members of the Club are encouraged to participate enthusiastically and are asked to show a sense of commitment and loyalty.

They have continued on the very active way of ‘serving-above-self’ and manage to complete various projects which include the making of Eco Bricks to help build a school in Du Noon, the collection of plastic bottle tops for Operation Smile – that are recycled – the money being used to repair Cleft palate/lips, visits to Old Age Homes and hospitals, and collections of food and stationary items from all learners at the school which are distributed to various charities.
